Our flight was the first to leave DIA after two days of closure. We had a great time in Tulum, Mexico where we were able to spend time on the beach, in the ocean, site seeing the ruins and cenotes, and eating all the fresh fruit we could. This is a picture of a ruin in Tulum is one of the best preserved ruins along the ocean. We rented a car one day and took off for an adventure to see the Tulum and Coba ruins and to end up on a beautiful deserted white sand beach just in time to get in the water and watch the sun set behind
the palm trees of Mexico. Shane favored the cenotes (sink hole of an underground river) the best while Alyssa enjoyed the warm weather and the tandem bike ride around the resort. We had a great first Christmas together there in Tulum and it is defiantly a place we would go back to in the future.
