It's tough to know which smile from a baby is the first smile that is a result of external stimulation (i.e. when you smile at them) as opposed to being caused by internal stimulation (i.e. gas). However, we can safely say Makenna is smiling for reasons other than gas.
I spend at least 30 min a day repeating over and over,
Will you show me your smile?
And she does.
That toothless grin puts the biggest smile on my face.
